“We connect people. Period. That’s why all the work we do in growth is justified. All the questionable contact importing practices. All the subtle language that helps people stay searchable by friends. All of the work we do to bring more communication in. The work we will likely have to do in China some day. All of it.
“So we connect more people,” Bosworth wrote in another section of the memo. “That can be bad if they make it negative. Maybe it costs someone a life by exposing someone to bullies.
“Maybe someone dies in a terrorist attack coordinated on our tools.”
The explosive internal memo is titled “The Ugly,” and has not been previously circulated outside the Silicon Valley social media giant.
Facebook Vice President Andrew “Boz” Bosworth- America's next mass murderer (who needs a gun?)
MORE ON THIS STORY
Facebook is clearly happy to risk people getting killed by information gathering and dissemination by them. This means that Facebook is happy to risk killing YOU.

What will happen the day a mass murderer gets hired by Facebook? Will they be the epicenter of murder and mayhem?
In a Third World nation, Facebook would be co-opt by government leaders to arrange death of unwanted people. Their information would be used to entrap them and target them for death. Andrew Bosworh could be our man at the office who one day snuffs unwanted Americans. All he needs is a Progressive Liberal like Hillary in the Oval Office.
The context of his statement tells us we need to just get used to a few dead bodies of friends and social media people we know. What happened in America when the death of people became a risk worth taking to do business?
And, let us hear no more of this mad accusation, "Well, you are the one who posted your information. If you want to be safe, don't post things."
The point is, Facebook is a master of using what little information you post, add all your other friends, analyze your comments, and paint a bull's eye on your back. It is a bold faced case of entrapment. Google is even worse.
The moral in all of this is...... Microsoft, Facebook, Google, YouTube, and a hundred other social entities we are involved with are selling us to the highest bidder. And, if that is the people who decide we need to be killed, we are dead meat, and Bosworth laughs all the way to the bank.
Andrew Bosworth is simply letting the cat out of the bag as to the ethics of Internet players. Do you want to kill someone? Just pay Facebook for a data download and follow the dots. And, the US crime investigation agencies love it that way because they too get to use the same information.
Francis Schaeffer was right. It is Death In The City, USA.
