Obama just gave a speech telling us we must not discriminate against Muslims. This is partly because he hopes we ill overlook his Muslim heritage.

But, is it not reasonable to discriminate against a religion which CALLS FOR ALL ITS MEMBERS TO KILL THE HEATHEN AND ALL CHRISTIANS? 

Whether or not some given Muslim in our town acts upon that doctrine of Islam is not the point. The point is, every Muslim can be called to Jihad, to kill the Kaffir, the non-Muslim.

What Obama and the US Attorney General are demanding is that we not discriminate against murders and rapists. This means that our leaders are in direct complicity with murders and rapists. In other words, Obama is driving the get-away car.

So, you decide. Will you just give Islam and all Muslims a pass and risk being killed and your wife raped? Or, will you practice at minimum some passive discrimination with Muslims? 

Can we relate to any Muslims? Yes, but vet them for your own family's protection. The people in San Bernadino had decided the Jihadi was a very nice man, very religious, and very self-controlled. They had no idea he was planning a little Jihad in their office.

Fourteen people died because they did not discriminate.

1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Does God call you to defend your own people in your household? If not, what kind of god do you have. My God expects me to protect my own.

Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

Jesus was about to return to heaven and leave the disciples to preach the Gospel, and that is exactly what happened. We are here in Christ because they went out preaching Christ. They also were told elsewhere by the Apostle Paul that, "2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."

So, why did Jesus tell them to buy a sword?

Verse 38 means that Jesus was about to come to the end of his earthly ministry, die, raise again from death, and return to his Father in Heaven. So, he was getting them ready for the possibility of general criminal attacks, and murderous thugs along the path, which had nothing to do with preaching the Gospel.

Islamic Jihad is general mayhem and chaotic mindless killing. It has nothing to do with persecution. Do not be deceived by some pious folk into thinking that an attack like the one in San Bernadino was persecution.

There were no Glocks in Jesus' day. The equivalent of a Glock today was a Roman short sword in Jesus' day. It was deadly in close combat, and the short sword in the hands of a potential victim would cause the criminal to move on to an unarmed victim. Ironically, you can carry a hand gun legally in many states, but no states allow carrying a short sword.

If you buy into the notion that you must simply trust the Lord, and not arm yourself, you are not obeying Jesus in the principle of the above text. Certainly, God helps his people in trouble, but when he tells them to participate, only a fool will refuse.
