The day is near when we will all have to decide if we still want to participate in the world at large. I can see people actually disappearing in terms of modern technology. People like Jesse Ventura don't even have a cell phone.
Our politicians will never touch this thing because they are paid off by technology companies. I personally do NOT believe that social media and Internet gurus are serious about protecting users. I believe they snoop on us so much that they defend their own hacking by also defending criminal hackers. It is the same ethic that keeps the FDA protecting Monsanto from liability for Round Up. The bribes flow, and the government goes totally corrupt.
