In the USA people have the freedom to do dumb things. If every dumb thing had to be regulated, there would be millions of laws, and the whole tax base of the USA would go to enforcing those regulations.

I have a step ladder which has a warning label on it telling me to not stand on the top of the ladder. Now, that would terrify me in any case, but why do I need a warning label for that? There are some dumb things that people should be allowed to do and take themselves out of the gene pool. Extreme dumbness should not be inherited by another generation.

Is holding Sunday worship services, during an epidemic, an activity that the government needs to regulate?

Answer: NO

People know the consequences, they know they could get sick, and they know that about .02% of them will die as a result of their choice. The odds of crossing the street are infinitely worse.

This is not about protecting the masses from one another. The state of California is letting protesters mob up without masks and social distancing, indeed, the Liberal sodomite state legislature loves the protesters. So, they give them a pass.

This attack on Grace Community Church is based in hate for God and Christians. You see, these sodomites cannot poke God in the eye, so they have to go after a surrogate victim, and that is God's people.

For the record, Los Angeles County has had one in every 2000 of its population die of Covid. That is not a statistic that justifies taking people's choice to worship away from them. That is the same rate of drunk drivers at any time on our highways in the USA. We need to outlaw driving cars.

There is in America a growing hate for God and his people. This is because the last place where the message of righteousness is being heard is from some church pulpits. Sin is protected and encouraged in America, so the sinners want to do harm to the message and the messenger. 

I have a feeling that Pastor John MacArthur will end up sitting in jail before this is over. Nothing will give the godless officials of Californication more delight than to put MacArthur away for 90 days. They will then probably take possession of the church facility and auction it off.

This is a show down, and the rest of America better pay close attention to see what is coming our way later. I have no doubt that as many as 35 of the states in the USA would love to put pastors in prison.

I have no argument with churches who decide to stop meeting. If they make that choice, again, it is their choice, and they will answer to God for it. I have no idea exactly how God feels about it, so the end of that choice is none of my business.

When this epidemic is all over, it may well be that a whole new set of laws will be in place controlling churches and the practice of religious beliefs. That is how Satan works through demented public officials who hate God.

I can accurately predict what will happen if the city manages to put MacArthur in prison. This is based on what I have seen happen in Africa when a Marxist government attacked Christians. 

Grace Community Church will grow out of control as people flock to support them and to be part of their story. This would happen if the church were Roman Catholic instead of Fundamental Christian. When churches, even heretical churches, in history were attacked by Caesar, those churches grew. The church in Ethiopia, during the 1974 Marxist coup, was attacked by the new government. The church grew wildly, and the government could not stop it. So, the Marxists claimed that the churches in Ethiopia were growing because they had new freedoms under Marxism. 

If you take a stand for Christ and the Christian truth, never back down. The wicked will eventually panic and run for cover. They cannot resist the zeal of true Bible believers. Then again, God can even the score in his own way. That has happened before many times.

A testimony by Julian Urban, 38 years old, Doctor in Lombardy (Italy)..

Never in my darkest nightmares did I imagine that I would have seen and lived through what has been happening here in our hospital for the last three weeks. And the nightmare only grows; the river becomes bigger and bigger. At the beginning only a few arrived, then dozens, and then hundreds, and now we are no longer doctors, we have become mere sorters who decide who should live and who must be sent home to die, even if they are people who have paid Italian taxes for their whole life. 

Up until two weeks ago, my colleagues and I were atheists; this was normal because we are doctors and we have learned that science proves that God does not exist. I always laughed at my parents when they went to church.

Nine days ago, a 75-year-old pastor came to us for medical help. He was a kind man, he had grave respiratory problems, but he had a Bible with him and it impressed us that he was reading the Bible to the people who were dying and holding their hands.

We were all tired, discouraged doctors, psychologically and physically spent, and so we found that we were listening to him.

Now we must admit: as human beings we have reached our limits, there is nothing more we can do, and more people are dying every single day. And we are exhausted. Two of our colleagues have died and others are infected.

We realized that we have reached the limits of what man can do. We need God, and we have begun to ask for his help, when we have a few moments free. We speak among ourselves and we cannot believe that we who were fierce atheists are now seeking for interior peace by asking the Lord to help us to resist so that we can take care of the sick. Yesterday the 75-year old pastor died. Despite the fact that in the last three weeks we have had over 120 people die in our unit and we are all exhausted and feel destroyed, he succeeded, despite his own condition and our own difficulties, to bring us a PEACE that we no longer hoped to find.

The pastor went to the Lord, and soon we will follow him if things continue like this.

I have not been home for six days; I don’t know the last time I ate something; I realize my own worthlessness on this earth, and I want to dedicate my last breath to helping others. I am happy to return to God while I am surrounded by the suffering and death of my fellow men.”

Well, Rodney Howard "Tampa Fats" Browne has been arrested by the local sheriff for holding his usual megachurch Sunday services. He has arrogantly claimed they have machines to heal people, which is blasphemy. He used to claim to be able to heal people by speaking the magic words of lunatic Pentecostalism. Now, he has to use a machine. When did Jesus use a machine to heal people?

So, the egomaniac preacher is sitting in the local jail meditating on his folly.

I hope he rots in that jail. He called thousands of people together, challenged them to gather in violation to the lawful orders of public officials, and ordered his followers to shake hands to prove their faith in Jesus.

I also hear there are Bible believing Baptist preachers still holding Sunday services. I hope you end up in prison for your rebellion. These orders to stay in place and not meet in gatherings are well known epidemic policies from hundreds of years of experience with epidemics. We saw it work in Ethiopia when we were missionaries there. 

THIS  HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PERSECUTION. You are a blasted fool if you claim the public officials are persecuting you with their rules. You are also murderers if you hold your regular services. You want your people to take risks, and you do not give a flip if they get sick and die. You are murderers.

But again, the supreme idiots are you you church members who let your murderous preacher call you together in groups for services. That preacher has Bible verses he uses to prove you must risk your life with the cornavirus to please God, and his Bible verses are ALL out of context. 

Moses law called for quarantine for people with leprosy, and some of them with the disease loved God and wanted to please him. But, they left the city and lived in the wilderness in order to prevent leprosy from spreading. The first one to call for quarantine was God himself.

Leviticus 13:43 Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;
44 He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.

Numbers 5:2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:

Luke 17:12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: This is now called social distancing. It was founded in Moses' law.

So, any preacher who claims that people must violate epidemic orders and gather in large groups is a heretic. Only fools obey his orders to come together as usual and risk sickness and death.

THIS SCENE CANNOT BE PRODUCED BY ATHEISM

There is no music in Atheism. 

They never sing. It is characteristic of all humans around the world that they make music and sing together in some way. Atheism cannot explain the zeal of song and dance. They have no idea where it came from.

Thus, Christians too sing, and they sing with zeal in many places.

The other thing Atheists do not have is hope. They have no forward look in their life. The vast majority of the worlds tribes and cultures believe they move on from this life to a better one. The Bible has this theme all the way through, and to this hour millions of Christians look eagerly for the day Jesus Christ returns and takes his Church out of this world and to their "heavenly home." Atheists mock at this act of faith by Christians. not because it is unreasonable, but because these Atheists know they have no future. They have cussed God out, and they NEED to mock at anyone who believes they will see God one day.

Here is a classic example of hope. If you are an Atheist, and if this makes you mad, SO WHAT? I do not give diddle what you think about it. The fact is, you know your destiny..... HELL. Every Atheist has a deep fear down inside his soul that he may turn out to be wrong, and he can do nothing about it but scream in rage at Christians.

You Atheists keep screaming............ We Bible believers will keep singing. And we will sing the last verse in Heaven as you hear the verdict.......... "Depart from me, I never knew you."

The reason Atheists are so enraged at Christians is because Atheists NEED our God to be there. If God were to resign and go away, Richard Dawkins and friends would have nothing to gripe about, and Richard would no longer be paid to give his lectures. Dicky boy would suddenly be unemployed if there were no God.

What really makes Dawkins wretch is that he MUST have God in his grip everywhere he goes to lecture. There is no debate when only one party shows up for the event.

What is amazing is to hear their optimism and faith in God in the face of these sorrows they also experience.

But, America must repent, or we will also slide over the edge and become a Third World nation. We just had a past President who exalted Islam, the Islamic Brotherhood, and funded the terrorist nation Iran. We now have a President who threw away two wives when their youthfulness passed and married a porn queen. Worst of all, thousands of silly ass preachers are exalting this man who preaches that we should, "Grab them by the p____y."

There will be repentance soon in America, AT THE CHURCH HOUSE, or American Christians will be singing Bang Yuh Belly and Bawl.

2 Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

WHY DO YOU HAVE MARRIAGE PROBLEMS?

THERE ARE TWO POSSIBLE REASONS:

1. Your wife didn't marry Jesus. She married you. Pity the man whose wife sends him the message that if he were the perfect husband, she would become a perfect wife. That is a lot of horse leavings, sir. No husband is the man God wants him to be, AND, his wife is not the woman God wants her to be. We are all still growing and learning to be more like Jesus. So, if your wife is busy helping you to be a better Christian nice guy, tell her to cut it out NOW. Tell her that her job is to be more like Jesus. Only then will she become the woman and wife she wants to be.

Also, tell your wife she did not marry Dr. James Dobson or any other Christian shrink with an answer for every problem in life. AND, stop sending donations to those busy body gurus.


2. Lady, your Harlequin novel marriage does not exist. Oh, it was great on the honeymoon, but I am sure you recall the first time your husband did not come across like the handsome prince who grew up in Windsor Castle and rescued maidens six days a week. And, if your marriage is going bad, I can tell you why..... you are desperate to remake your husband, and you nag the living daylights out of him. Oh, you do it ever so lovingly, right? But, YOU ARE A BLASTED NAG. If you want to keep your marriage, you must let your husband do the marriage saving, not you. 

Your assignment, lady: Start LIKING your husband, not just loving him. Take an interest in some of the man things you think should be shucked off by him. Stop demanding that he make you happy. If your man likes to go bass fishing, ask him if you can come along once. You will have to be ready to catch him before he hits the floor. AND, make a serious effort to learn how to catch a bass. Listen a lot, and keep your mouth closed a lot.

If you don't have Bible reading together at the end of the day, ask your husband if you can do that. DO NOT jabber about how that might save your marriage. Do you want your man to see God as his therapist, or do you want him to be a man of Christ, and figure it out for himself as he reads the Bible?

Make a covenant with God that you will never tell your husband what is wrong with him, or how something he believes or stands for is wrong. Add to that covenant the promise to God that you will, until death do you part, always ASK your husband's opinion about something troubling you. Finally, promise God you will accept your husband's decisions or opinions and live with them, NEVER pointing out later if it did not work out like he expected.

If you will not make this covenant, you do not deserve a husband. There ought to be a convent in Antarctica for women like you.

Finally, when you are out and about and talking to friends, BRAG ON YOUR HUSBAND instead of joining the ladies (other word is B____) as they tell each other all their husband's oddities and foibles. By doing this, you will prevent yourself from falling into temptation with some handsome dude. He won't even try after he hears how you brag on your man.


CONCLUSION

The party who destroys a marriage is almost always the wife. She drives the man crazy with her expectations, she nags the man about his being manly, and she tells all the wrong people what she is thinking. I am talking about her parents, pastor, and other lady friends. These people almost always take up her cause, blame the man for everything that goes wrong, and pass the gossip about your husband around town. If you want to keep your husband, GIVE HIM BACK TO GOD.

AND, learn to live with the results. If you do not back off and become a woman of God in your home, your husband will find a lady who does not nag and bitch at him, and she will take your man away from you. Oh, society will join in eagerly to take up your side and blame your husband for destroying your marriage, but as of this blog post, you will know, for the rest of you life, that you were warned that YOU are the main problem, the she-destroyer.

OK, buster, you read all this and you are saying to yourself, "Boy, that preacher sure nailed my wife."

So, sir, when is the last time you told your wife you love her? She needs to hear that. Do you dress to make your lady look good. Most men believe their wife makes them look good. If that happens to be true in your case, it is because you dress like Early Neanderthal. 

I need to hit you again, Buster....... Does your wife feel like the man who follows her through the door at the restaurant or at church makes her look special? Does your wife shine as she goes through the door, like, "This is my man, and he loves me." Or, do you look like you just came in from a baboon convention, to include your grungy ball cap on backwards?

I hesitate to brag, but I decided before we got married that I would dress to the nines for my sweetheart. We always get better service when eating out. Waitresses are very good to me right in front of my wife, and it is not because I am hustling them. It is because my wife's man clearly makes her look good, and those poor young waitresses have to go out with a dork in crocks. 

I believe this doctrine, sir. A woman always wonders if she really looks good tonight. So, when she asks herself that, she looks at her man, and his effort to dress up for his wife will result in her answer to her own question..... "Yes. I look just fine."

Story One: My wife and I were assigned to Eldoret, Kenya where I was to be the headmaster of a pastor's training school. I was not as busy for the Lord as I wanted to be in that job, so I went to the local High School where there were classes offered in religion..... Protestant, Catholic, Islamic, and Traditional. I got a resume together, and I dressed in a suit, and I presented myself to the African headmaster applying to teach the Protestant class.

The African headmaster looked at my resume, and he stared at me for a while, and he said, "I have never had a European hand me a resume or wear a suit and tie for me. You certainly may teach the class." He then offered to buy new text books for the class, and he asked me to find the one I wanted. I had been told by other missionaries that most headmasters did not want White people teaching religion classes.

Story Two: I was in Basic Training in the Army in 1968 at Fort Knox, Kentucky. We got our first weekend pass, and my wife drove down from Michigan to spend it with me. On Sunday, we went to a nice restaurant in Elizabeth Town. I was permitted to wear civilian clothes on pass, but I decided to wear my Class-A uniform instead. When the waitress came after the meal, she said our dinner had been paid for. I was astounded. She asked if I had seen the older man across the room who had just left. She said he was a retired Colonel, and almost every Sunday he paid for a soldiers dinner. The Colonel determined who to pick for this kindness by two things..... The soldier had to have his wife with him, and he had to be dressed in his Class-A uniform

You put fresh oil in your Camero regularly. Do you put fresh love in your marriage just as faithfully?

This preacher is going to ask a blunt question, whether you men like it or not.....

How often do you surprise your wife with a hug or kiss WITHOUT grabbing her nipple? Do you love her just as much for her mind and spirit as for her booty? 

Now, lady, never send me mail claiming I threw you under the bus in my blog. But, stop believing Hillary Clinton and the feminazi alliance when they claim that men do all the damage in marriage. My experience as a pastor has convinced me that the wife is more often the destroyer than the man.

Men, one last favor I happen to know your wife wants from you..... would you men who work at home PLEASE turn off Rush Limbaugh. Replace him with some of this.

THE DESTINY OF THE LEFT

The Progressive Left is made up of the scum of the earth.

We need to stop talking about Hillary, Obama, and Maxine Waters in breathless terror. These creeps do not have the power to take control because they do not occupy the high ground. They stand for murder of babies, sodomy, and pedophilia. Where did we get the idea that they could prevail?

The whole issue is fear. Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, and other such hucksters of terror, have gotten the limelight as they try to stampede Americans into total panic in the face of Liberal Leftist Marxist loud mouths like Bernie Sanders.

Who should Bible believers fear?

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

The only entity to fear is God himself. He can send you to Hell. If you are born again, he will NOT send you to Hell. So, whom have we to fear ultimately? 

If Hillary and Obama have you in deep terror of what they may do to you, they already have captured your soul and mind. Fear is a prison which keeps its inmates locked behind the bars of their overactive imaginations. In all my life I have heard of conspiracies that are alleged to be absolutely impossible to stop. The Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderbergers, the Illuminati, on and on it goes. The irony is, I have yet to find any of these boogie men doing me or anyone else harm. The only power they have is secrecy, and secrecy is a lot of rubbish if it never results in action and conquest.

We must have such fear of God that there is not fear left in us to fear men.

1 Peter 2:17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

You are NOT told to fear the king, nor any of his cohorts and politicians.

ANGRY OLD MAN

When wicked men try to take power it is historic that they are soon taken down and often killed. They at least end up fleeing to some other nation in terror. Witness Idi Amin and Menguistu Heile Mariam of Ethiopic. When the day comes that God has exhausted his mercy on Hillary Clinton and George Soros, they will end up in a fancy box in a hole in the ground. Kings bleed just as easily as you do.

What is really deadly to the Church of Jesus Christ is when his people stand around in the church house foyer, or at church dinners, and trade horror stories to drive one another into dread and panic. And, the worst of it is that this is often done in front of little children so that these kids grow up with hearts filled with terror rather than the fear of God.

If you, pastor, preside over such a local church, you need a millstone tied around you neck and throw you into the lake. You are a bastard son who is unwilling to teach children to fear God. I hate you with perfect hatred because you are the enemy of God.

Isaiah 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

How does God feel when he looks at you and hears your conversation? Does God remember you?

Psalms 103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

WHAT SHALL WE DO ABOUT PHONY PANHANDLERS?

This ABC news report defines the problem:

When we were missionaries in Ethiopia, that nation had allowed beggars in their streets for a thousand years. It is a Middle Eastern phenomenon, just as it was during the lifetime of Jesus Christ. The beggars in Ethiopia were for real, but we were informed that there were professional beggars who put on beggar's clothes in the morning, begged all day, went home and changed, and went to eat in fancy tourist hotels and night clubs at night.

The reason for this is that the Ethiopian people are terrified of being known as selfish and stingy, so they are very generous to beggars. A beggar, unlike in America, has no other option. There is NO socialism and not alternative, so the beggars would literally starve to death if people were not generous.

So, we realized that we needed to be generous also. After all, we lived by faith in Jesus Christ, and he was limitlessly kind to the poor in his day. But, was there a way to tell the professional beggars from the truly needy.

1. Fake beggars go home at night.

One of our missionaries in Ethiopia would take food and blankets in his car at night and drive from one bus stop to another. He would find beggars, often women and children, sleeping in the covered bus waiting locations. He knew they were for real because they had no home to go to at night. He gave them food or whatever he had for beggars. One lady he found looked like a down country tribal person, and so he greeted her in that tribal language. She returned the greeting and started crying. She told him she had come to the capital city with a promise of work which did not pan out. She became destitute and living on the street. He arranged, the next day, for her to be transported back to her tribal area and home.

The moral of this point is that, if you want to make absolutely sure you are helping the needy, go downtown in the evening, and give food or clothing to people living on the street or under bridges. Right, it takes a bit of trouble and investment of time to make sure your good is not evil spoken of.


2. Fake beggars do not want food of clothing.

On every intersection in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia there are groups of kids begging. They run up to your car, especially if you are White, and they all have learned one line in English.... "No father, no mother, hungry today."

We were trying to think of a way to help the really needy kids because some of those young boys were placed there by either their parents or criminals who forced them to beg and bring the money to the thug. So, when we started a day of business and shopping, we bought a bag of Italian torpedo rolls and a bag of oranges or bananas. The average poor kid in Ethiopia may not eat an orange more than once every ten years. When the kids ran to our car during a red light time, we handed the bread and oranges out to them. The fake beggar kids ran to the next car, and the real beggar kids eyes got as big as saucers. It was a real rush to see those kids dig into an orange or a crusty Italian roll.

Thus, in the USA, make a point of taking snack food, especially protein, along when you go downtown. Include some cartons of drinks. When a beggar comes to your car, offer him the food and a drink, and you will soon learn who the fakes are. Also, when a beggar is posted near an eating place, take the time occasionally to park, and offer to take the beggar to eat a meal with you. The really needy people will be delighted. If they feel they will not be wanted in the eating place, do not make a civil rights event out of it. Tell them you will order something to go and bring it to them. The really needy ones will then be pleased and thankful.

3. Fake beggars avoid really poor beggars.

Fake beggars make really needy people feel resentful. The truly needy resent that a person with a car and home to go to every night is out there taking cash the needy could get. There is a territorial aspect to this begging, and certain beggars, for reasons known only to them, have staked claim to certain intersection corners. When a fake beggar takes a corner a needy person could use, that is wicked. This results in the fake beggar being avoided and standing alone. That is a clue you can use to determine who is really in need.


4. Fake beggars often look better than the truly homeless.

The phony beggars look better than the truly needy. Street people do not shave much, or at all. They do not get a bath every night. They do not have clean clothes because they do not own washing machines. When you look at beggars, it is quite fair to do some shrewd analysis of what you are looking at. It the beggar has leathery skin that looks a bit dirty, and they are scruffy in the face, you are very likely looking at the real thing.

This is why it is also very kind to take clothes and toiletries to clean up. 

We had hundreds of Ho Bo's stop by our home when I pastored a church on the Union Pacific Railway line in the California desert. One time, a man asked if he could clean up. He really needed it badly, but I could see beneath the crud that he was a bright eyed man, so I let him use the church restroom, which had a shower, to clean up. I gave him a razor, and when he came out he looked very civilized. I believe we also washed his clothes for him. I asked him why he was "on the road," and he said it was alcohol. He would sober up and stay dry for a time, and then he would lose it again. We talked with him about the help Christ could give him, and we gave him a Bible and things to read.


5. Fake beggars are not thankful.

They are guilty of working a scam on the public, and they know it. For this reason, they will have no feeling for you, and they will not show thankfulness. I have seen beggars get weepy and overcome with gratitude when someone gave them enough money to buy a meal, or better, gave them a new shirt of jacket. And, strangely, really needy people will very often start praising God. There is a lot more faith in God on that street corner than in the cars rolling by.


Now, there are some things you can do besides mock and complain. Griping about the fake beggars is simply a way for hypocrites to justify their stingy soul. Do not give way to this pious self-righteous trend to downgrade people in need just because some of them are fake. The man I told you about above, who helped the lady get back home, said, "I would rather help ten beggars, and find that nine of them were fake, than to miss helping number ten."

Please do not come to Jesus like this man:

Mark 10:17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

Help the needy this way:

Luke 14:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

Jack Johnson owned a missile parts making company. Whenever he saw a hitch hiker, he would pick the man up, give him the Gospel, and talk with him about life. If the man showed real desperation to escape from his life of dependence, Jack would get him cleaned up, put him in a rented room, and he would find him a job in one of several parking lots in downtown Los Angeles where he knew the owners. He would keep track of the men, and if they stuck it out, he moved them on to a better job that paid better and would really support them. Jack lead one such fellow to Christ on the way to prayer meeting one evening, and he brought him to church and introduced him as his new brother in Christ. The man showed clearly that he had been seriously affected by his new salvation, and Jack stayed with him later.

Here is a thought. I have never heard of anyone taking a street person to a ball game, a stock car race, or a concert. Think about what that would do for someone living on the street day after boring day.

I would wager that 90% of you reading here, if you were honest, could stand to part with $100 to a street person. What would that feel like? There is NO rush in this life bigger than seeing the face of a needy person or kid when they receive some big help.

Again, do not be one of those who use the fake beggars as an excuse for doing nothing for needy people. Take a street person to IHOP this week.

UPDATE- THE BURDEN OF DAMASCUS

President Trump said clearly that he wanted to get out of Syria a few days ago. Now, Asaad has ALLEGEDLY gassed a group of his own people. Russia says it is fake news, and they may be right. Any of you skeptics who believe every accusation against a Middle Eastern leaders need to remember the weapons of mass destruction that President Bush used as an excuse to launch war on Iraq and kill 1.5 million Iraqis. After the US had commenced the slaughter, Bush admitted there had been no WMDs at all, and it is not clear that General Powell and Dick Donald Rumsfeld made the whole story up to justify war.

So, now Trump is talking about more war in Syria. Why am I not surprised to hear this? Trump needs to curry the favor of the Neo Cons in order to save his Presidency. McCain has read Trump the riot act in telling Trump that he may not leave the Middle East. War is eternal for the USA, and until Trump can find a new place to make war, he will stay in the Middle East or he will get the poisoned soup.

So, what does this mean to a Bible believer?

Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.
25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!
26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.
27 And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.

And.....

Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

Damascus is the longest continuously inhabited city in the world. It has been inhabited as a city for 5000 years. It is one of the first cities mentioned in the bible. Before Abram was Abraham, when Jerusalem was still Salem, Damascus is mentioned (Genesis 14:15). As we know, Damascus is the capital of the Arab country of Syria and about 130 miles northeast of Jerusalem.

Bible scholars do not know what to do with Aroer in the context of the Isaiah text above. It is down near the Dead Sea in Jordan, so it seems out of place here. The probability is that there was a second Aroer in the Damascus neighborhood.

In any case, Damascus has never been destroyed in all of known history. So, Damascus, and obviously its leader, have an appointment with prophecy as given by God. I personally believe that all the ongoing posturing and saber rattling by Israel, Russia, Iran, the USA, and now China, will soon result in some nation deciding to nuke Damascus. We now have a President who knows nothing about war from personal experience. I have heard him say, in an interview, that the US should never go to war unless we get oil out of the deal. Since Damascus does not offer us war, Trump could be the novice war maker who decides to blow Damascus off the map. An event like this would certainly get the heat of Mueller off his back for a while. 

CHINA IS NOW IN THE MIX

This complicates things for the US Government, but also for the prophecy student. China is not among those who later come down against Israel with Russia in Ezekiel 38. So, whatever China's present role is in the Syrian and Damascus events, China will move to the sideline before Ezekiel 38 happens. But, China's entry in a big way into the theater of the Middle East now adds them to those with a vested interest of conquest at the battle of Armageddon at the end of the Great Tribulation. So, China is probably in the Middle East to stay. 

Also, we now see that both Russia and China need Syria to remain intact to justify their ongoing presence in the Middle East. Rescuing Asaad is not at all a matter of supporting an old friend. That has not been the case with Russia and China. The saving of Asaad is so that they have a viable leader in the area to keep them invited to participate.

Now, do you see why Donald Trump, the warrior of the business world, with no real warfare history, is out on a limb with Syria? He has no idea how to handle this, and the Neo Cons are pushing for more war in Syria. They want all out war with Russia, even if the USA ends up with half our cities nuked.

There is also a very real chance that the Neo Cons are mad about Trump's tariffs on Chinese products, and they want Trump to make a fool of himself with China in Syria. The Neo Cons are the ones who have given China the US market place as a personal possession. 

So, where do Bible believers fit into this picture? 

The Rapture of the Lord's Church could happen at any moment. The destruction of Damascus by a nuke could happen right after the Rapture, and the whole world would suddenly be in a panic to find a peace maker to make sure more nuclear attacks do not happen. This could at once bring forth the Antichrist, the false peace maker. 

The destruction of Damascus does not have to happen before the Rapture, and the attack on Israel in Ezekiel 38 could actually be the tidings from the north when the northern nations attack the Antichrist (Daniel 11:44). You can see that this includes tidings from the east at the same time. This could easily be a double attack on Antichrist from Russia and China. 

And, if you are a Bible believer, you will be gone. 

If you are not a born again Christian, especially if you live anywhere in the Middle East, Russia, the USA, Europe, China, or Israel, you are in for a very hot time. You in America will see the USA destroyed. We are nowhere in Bible prophecy, so the USA will be trashed so that they never get in God's way again.

If you crave some good news in all of this, you need to make sure you have confessed faith in Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

My friend who fought with the IDF several times has some interesting thoughts on prophecy. Here is his report on recent talks between Russia, Turkey, and Syria. Keep in mind that Russia and Turkey have been deeply at odds over what to do with Syria, and Erdogan hate Asaad of Syria.

"Iran, Russia and Turkey have teamed up to forge a strong if brittle tripartite alliance aimed at holding ascendancy in Syria, taking advantage of the West’s reluctance to engage militarily in the country.The presidents of the three countries, long seen as regional rivals rather than strategic allies, will meet Wednesday in Ankara for their second three way summit on Syria in a striking demonstration of unity." 

Webb here. I find the use of the word brittle above to be very interesting in that they'll all be strong enough to invade Israel together, yet while the attack is underway inside Israel they'll open fire on one another. EZ38:21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

This helps understand why the Neo Cons, and the President, of the US, along with the US Military, are deeply frightened by events in Syria. It also looks like an alliance which could stand down President Trump and scare him off.

This three way alliance could end up solidifying and becoming a powerful block that could threaten Israel. Also, remember, Turkey is thought to be Gomer in Ezekiel 38, and this alliance locks Turkey into the prophecy. And Persia (Iran) is in the list in Ezekiel 38. If this threesome survives and thrives, brittle though it be, we have to be close to the day when Gog and Magog (Russia) starts gathering the mob to come down against Israel. Also, watch for Putin to soon give more hugs to Netanyahu to try to keep him off guard.

If Trump survives the present chaos, and if he comes out "clean," he will be trying to kiss and make up to Putin, as he suggested during his campaign. This could result in Trump getting promises from the three nations above to keep the peace rather then keep stirring it up.

This alliance is the first really historic and prophetic step to the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38, at least in my lifetime. 

FAKE NEWS ABOUT WOMEN

Anyone who has lived in America for over 60 years knows that women need other women as friends. They can get crazy and have fun in a way that is very different from their times with their husbands or kids. This is true in secular circles, and it is true in the Lord's Church. 

The ladies' missionary society is a classic illustration. These ladies can talk about things that their husbands find boring or "off topic" to their own lives. The Amish are a great example. The wives get together and do hand work and trade stories and basically let their hair down. This characteristic in women, having lady friends, is ancient.

So, the following article is a lot of rubbish talk. Someone has found a way to do a research on women in which the outcome was predictable. The questions were undoubtedly loaded in the direction of feminist thinking of course, so this historic aspect of women's lives is translated into a premise that husbands are failures. This is exactly what we would expect from feminazis, and the media grabs the myth and runs with it.

Any smart husband knows that his wife needs women friends to keep her balance in life. A wise husband will encourage his wife to make lady friends. What is totally missing here is a survey of husbands whose wives have lady friends to see how this actually makes them better wives and more interesting to their husbands.

The assumption from damned-to-Hell feminists is that husbands are again being mindless and uninteresting brutes. Men need to repent and start watching soap operas and reading Harlequin novels so they can have a lady-man session with the wives.

The irony is, men do the same thing. Men have male friends with whom they roar and have fun because they need the iron-sharpeneth-iron experience. Men need to go fishing and hunting with other men to have a balanced personality.

So, let's have no more of this blather, bluster, and bull about husbands letting the world down because their wives need lady friends. When you hear this rubbish, slap it down with a vengeance. The only thing that could come from this is for decent women to feel guilty because they have women friends whom they need to be socially balanced. What a wicked world it would be if women all decided they did not want to have other women for friends. 

If you men are nervous about what your wife talks about with other women, ask your wife not to discuss your intimacies with her lady friends. Talk about this instead of worrying about it. And, you men do the same courtesy with your wife when you are with your man friends.

You men also need to help your wife find time and geography opportunities to be with other women, whether in groups or one on one.

You women who avoid other women, especially in the local church, are not balanced in your life. You single women who have man friends instead of women friends are fools. Virtually all of those men are just waiting for you to crack the door open to intimacy. None of those male friends are just interested in you intellectually or spiritually. That is the way God made men. They are looking for the woman they are meant to marry, and some of those men are plainly looking for any woman they can lead to bed. And, this happens at the First Baptist Church of Saint Innocent. 

I am even talking about Christian women who have a friendship with their pastor. If he participates in this, he is getting ready to take you to bed. A godly pastor has only male friends. He lets his wife be the friend of the ladies in the local church. Any other arrangement is polygamy and adultery.

In nearly every local church in America is a man who is tired of the whores he has been chasing and bedding down, and he is looking for a godly Christian girl to finally marry and settle down. Let me tell you a secret, dear lady..... That dude will run out on you within thirty days of marrying you. I suggest you get close to a couple of God fearing woman to whom you can be accountable. Other ladies, who care about their lady friends, will warn them when they are about to befriend a mad dog.

The bottom line is this..... Stop letting the media define who you are and who is important in your life. Let God the Holy Spirit do that for you by getting into the Bible, and stay close to a Bible preaching church. And, do make a friend of an older godly woman in the church who is walking righteously with the Lord.

Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Women..... If any woman friend of yours teaches you to be unlike the qualities seen in verses 4-5, shuck them off at once. A good friend will send you down the road to be a biblical woman.

FIVE THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO

These come from a hick preacher from Kentucky and myself. I admit that these "never do" items are colored by my experience in life, but I suspect you will learn something from this blog post that will help you stay out of trouble.

Number One- Never assume you know everything there is to know about anyone.
There are no experts. When you hear and expert on any topic, understand that he has inhaled the incense of a fool if he really believes he is an expert. 

Example: My wife and I lived through a Marxist coup in Ethiopia. The new regime was known to be Communist and Marxist, after a couple of days. We learned later from the American ambassador that Henry Kissinger sent millions of dollars and fighter jets to the new regime to curry favor with them. This usually works, but Henry was dead wrong this time. He got nothing but trouble for his diplomatic trick. This is because Henry does NOT know everything, and in this case, he did not understand the mind of Ethiopians. 

When you hear a preacher called "the answer man," he ain't. The answer man implies the guy can answer any question from the Bible. Understand at once that he has his own presuppositions, and one of them is that he has all the answers. He cannot be right all the time because he did not inspire the Bible..... God the Holy Spirit did. The best teachers are the ones who regularly say, "I am not sure what that means," or, "I will look into that and get back to you."

Always allow that your information on any topic, person, or situation is defective, and be ready to accept new information or advice from new sources. Make changes in your dealing with the thing accordingly. If you were wrong, admit it to those you work with, but most importantly, admit it to yourself. If you do not do this, you will become a self-deluded pest to society and to the Lord's Church.


Number Two- Never allow yourself to be disarmed.
This usually applies to weapons like guns or mace. But, to a Bible believer it means to never be without the Word of God as a weapon to do combat with the devil and his helpers. Here is the way to "carry" for a Bible believer:

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

In dealing with the devil or troublesome people, the Bible will cut through the rubbish information and get you to the solution and the answer every time. But, you must have it in your mind.

Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

God has chosen to send you into combat spiritually and intellectually. There are people you will deal with who are hand picked by Satan to destroy Bible believers. You need to be full of the preparation of the Gospel. The Bible is called the Sword of the Spirit for a reason..... you are in warfare with the wicked, and God plans on you winning by his strength and his Word.

As to the issue again of carrying a gun or other weapon, there are some options that will work if you cannot carry a gun. Pepper spray is useful, but an easy one is pharmaceutical grade ammonia in a spray container. Just do not aim for the eyes. Hit the threatening person or dog in the chest or lower face. The fumes will incapacitate them.


Number Three- Never get on the bus.
The bus could be going to a FEMA camp some day, and you will be told, "Just get on the bus, and we will take you where people are ready to take care of your every need." When the government offers to take care of you, you are a blithering idiot to believe there are no strings attached. You are a fool to believe they really care about you.

The same applies to the bus to a Gothard rally or some seminar where a Christian guru is going to make you into a better Christian. When you are told that the only way to have victory in your life is to ride a bus clear across the state to some rally, you are a fool to leave the local church where the Holy Spirit said that Christ would build his Church.

This applies to any self-improvement program or presentation. If there is a guru involved, it is not of the Lord Jesus Christ. Who has God given you to teach and help you in the Christian life?

Answer: People with spiritual gifts in the local church.

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

If your local church does not seem to have such people it is because you are in a crippled or heretical church. Move along until you find edifying men in a local church, and stay there. God has given you the power of the will and of choice. It is up to YOU to refuse the invitations to get in line and obey other people. 


Number Four- Never stop improving your life or situation.
If you grow a garden you know about this very well. Any serious gardener is always listening and reading to see if he can get better results from the soil, seed, watering, or any other gardening choices. 

If you are in a self-defense situation, and you are hiding behind an object from an approaching enemy, can you improve your chances of winning the battle? Can you put the enemy under terror in some way.

Example: During the Mau Mau uprising in Kenya in the 1950s, a team of African soldiers were chasing several Mau Mau through the forest, The Mau Mau were keeping ahead of the soldiers, but they came to a steep hill. If they climbed the hill, they would escape, so one soldier stood and yelled, "Stay where you are, they are coming up to you now." This panicked the Mau Mau because they thought another group of soldiers were at the top of the hill hiding. The Mau Mau turned and ran into an area where they could be caught.

When you are in combat with Satan or his servants, anything you can do to improve your chances of defending yourself, your family, or your Christian friends must be added to the ongoing battle strategy. 

Example: In a church I pastored, I decided to start attending all the public school board meetings of the public school nearby. I wanted to know what was going on and register my opinions from the perspective of a Bible believer. This went on for a while, and the school board got to dread seeing me in the audience. The board meetings were on Thursday evening, so they changed them to Wednesday evening because they knew I had to lead Wednesday evening prayer meeting and Bible study. So, our church changed prayer meeting to Thursday evening so that I could go to the school board meetings. The board gave up on trying to escape from me. 

Keep your position in the Christian warfare improving so that you have the high ground in Christ. Your knowledge of the Bible is never good enough. Keep studying it. Your knowledge of the tactics of the devil must be improving. I know preachers who claim they learn nothing about the cults and false religions. They just rely on the Bible. God cannot use the man who refuses to learn the tactics of the enemy.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

How do we learn about our adversary? Watch what he does to brethren in the world. How does he attack other people, and what do his servants teach those who are deceived?

Finally, never start coasting in your earthly vocation. If you have a job where you are very much needed by your company, do not become complacent my friend. Find ways to keep doing your job better. There is someone hanging around nearby who wants you job, and he better not be better than you at it if you can possibly help it.
Number Five- Never quit. People quit because they get discouraged. They get discouraged because they lose their confidence. This may be confidence in God, in your spouse, or in people in general. 

Hebrews 10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Patience is usually missing when someone wants to quit. There are always reasons to quit because life has a way of going wrong from time to time.

Example: Have you ever watched a stock car race, and you wonder why the guy in last place keeps driving? He has virtually no chance to win.

Kyle Larson was last in the starting field at this NASCAR race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, starting in 39th place. He fought his way to win second place in the end. At any point along the way no one would have blamed him for losing his fighting spirit as he had to pass 37 other cars to get his win. SEE THE END OF THE RACE

In the race of life, God has no second or third place in mind for his children. Everyone is considered a winner according to the Apostle Paul:

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

As one man said, "Lead, follow, or carry ammo." You are never out of the battle with Christ. He has no plans for you to be defeated.

Never say, "Quit."
