You need to check this list of cars which installed Takata air bags. Do not think that only low value cars have these wretched killing air bags. Even Ferrari bought and installed them to cut corners on cost.
SEE IF YOU CAR IS ON THE LIST
If your car was on the list, call a dealer at once, and ask what arrangements there are to replace the air bags. They should do it free since the bags could kill you, and the civil suit potential is enormous.
If they will not replace the bags free, you need to sell your car and buy one that is not on the list.
