The point for a Bible believer is this.....
The USA does not have any place in Bible prophecy. So, the USA is being replaced by the Prince of Meshech in his Ezekiel 38 role. The fact that President Obama is a wimp, when it comes to combat that wins, is beside the point. God arranged for Obama to be President of the USA so that he would cause the world to hate the USA, and God also wanted the USA to become a Military backwater.
This is all because God wants only the Bible named players in the game of the End Times in the Middle East.
So, I rejoice to see the USA defamed and degraded by Vladimir Putin, not because I despise America, but because I see the very last events happening right now which precede the Rapture of the Lord's Church and the revealing of the Antichrist.
For this positive outlook real Bible believers will be more and more hated in the days to come. Our joy will be seen as unpatriotic. So be it.
