KENYA SUPREME COURT OVERTURNS ELECTION

In a ruling of four votes to two, the Kenya Supreme Court has overturned the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta as President of Kenya. The seventh justice was missing because he was in the hospital sick.

Opposition candidate Raila Odinga said, “This is a historic day for Kenyans and Africa. For the first time in history of democratization in Africa, a ruling was made to nullify a presidential election,”

Never since the end of the colonial era during the 1960s has an African election been overturned in an orderly legal fashion and by a national Supreme Court. This is a landmark for Africa, and a great day for democracy in Kenya.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) of Kenya has been charged with criminal tinkering in the collection of election results from around Kenya on August 17.

Now, it is time to pray that President Uhuru Kenyatta does not start slaughtering justices and officials in charge of the new election date. The first President of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta, who was the father of the present President, killed a large number of politicians and officials and got away with it. It is entirely probable that Jomo Kenyatta killed the father of former President of the USA, Barak Obama. Uhuru Kenyatta will very possibly try to load the new election with officials favorable to him by killing present officials.

Indeed, President Kenyatta may decide to instigate a civil war in order to retain power as a dictator. He is from the Kikuyu tribe, and the Kikuyu have ruled Kenya since independence in 1964.* Kenya has come close to being destroyed by a coup a number of times, but they have squeaked through and remained a democracy. Pray that order is retained and that President Kenyatta cannot find the thugs willing to do a coup.

*Some readers will note that the second President of Kenya was Daniel Arap Moi from a Kalenjin tribe. But, Moi was a lackey and puppy dog official in Jomo Kenyatta's government, even divorcing his Kalenjin wife to marry a Kikuyu wife to curry favor with Jomo Kenyatta. As Vice President, Moi was a slave of the Kikuyu Mafia. Thus, Moi's Presidency was the private possession of the Kikuyu tribe.
