EXCEPT THE TOWN WHORES
The Patch the Pirate program in thousands of Baptist churches is extremely wicked. It causes Christian kids to exalt pirates as some sort of noble role model for kids.
Here is the end product, and it is ironic that the verse quoted deals with those who lead the righteous astray:
I have an article in Blessed Quietness Journal dealing with Patch the Pirate, and if your church has your kids in one of these programs, you are a loser of a Dad. Since pirates were considered in the same social set at whores long ago, why don't you start a kids girls club called, "Henrietta the Whore"?
