So, does this man see himself in some Papal or Messianic role, and why did all the other world leaders looks puzzled at this gesture by Pope Obama?

I believe there are men in the world today who know the prophecies of the Bible and despise them. But, they are quite willing to take on the role of Antichrist if it would give them more power. This, in my opinion, is what Obama dreams of in his secret thoughts.

Of course, the Jewish leaders, who give their power and worship to Antichrist, know that the Messiah will be a Jew, or according to some texts, Syrian, as Abraham was. So, a porch monkey of George Soros, and whose Daddy was a drunk African from Kenya, and whose Mom was a loser Communist Anglo Saxon, is going to have a very hard time convincing the Zionist leaders of Israel that he is the Messiah.

So, keep an eye on President Obama. Watch for more signals that he is behaving like he is having serious delusions of personal identity. This is one of the end state symptoms of AIDS dementia.
