This radiation from Japan is slowing moving into the USA West Coast, and this means food grown in California is highly suspect. Fish from the Pacific is absolutely deadly. We have to set our own policies about what is safe and what is unsafe. The US Government is clearly in denial because the reality of California and other western states contamination would drive millions of America to flee the West Coast and thus destroy the US economy.

The spent fuel rods are, to me, obviously on their way down into the earth to contaminate aqufiers and indirectly the ocean. The ocean is already heavily contaminated from ground water flowing into the ocean.
