The issue to most Americans is their own loss, but who worries about the airline? They have to pay the bills, and the plane flies anyway even if a passenger does not show.
But, in this situation, American has let the passengers fly later. So, American has to be losing a mountain of revenue. This is deadly in an industry driven by thin profit margin competition.
Thus, I want to know if the US Government wants American Airlines to fail for some reason.
