History tells us that when the people cannot resist government in any way they cannot have a revolt of revolution. The government has all the power, and the citizens are forced to simply submit to what is eventually a form of slavery.
The seduction is complete when every citizen is receiving back some small part of his tax payment as a "benefit" from the government. This is the final anesthetic of the masses when they forget where the government got the cash in the first place. Every little added benefit back to the citizen soothes him into believing his benefactor is the government.
Australia banned all guns some years back, and now the power elite in Australia have driven up the cost of government higher than any other nation on earth. The reason is, the citizens of Australia have no power to resist this rape of the people.
Ah, but Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson understood this when they decided to add the Second Amendment to the US Constitution. The simple fact that the people are armed is enough to restrain the ultimate and absolute corruption of power. There is never a need to even use the weapons by the people.
When the option of voting leaders in and out of offices fails, which is where we are in the USA, the only option left is to flip the safety off on the weapon. All those clicks cause the leaders to restrain themselves.

The final step will be when the elite rape all the banks of all the citizens' accounts. There is a biblical principle at work here in the long term:

It is absolutely pathetic that the end of America will come down to one thing..... guns, and who can own them.

1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
It will become harder and harder to participate in this society. People will be filled with hate and bitterness. Any White who has Black friends will be considered a traitor, and visa verse.
This will result in business dropping as Blacks flee from White businesses, and visa versa.
A Christian who tries to witness to a Muslim will be suspected by both neighbors and government agents for different reasons.
Just about any opinion you have on any topic will raise rage in someone nearby. We even see that Atheists are becoming filled with extreme hate for Christians. It is all over social networks online.
The last challenge before the Rapture of the Lord's Church will be to keep our sanity and live like Jesus would in America if he were here. In fact, Jesus IS here, in you.
